I won't have the tires to compete in the bog. Or be competitive anyway. Even in the smallest class that I fit in which is 500 allow the 44's so i don't know. The last showing I had there besides the breakage couldn't even get the momentum up.

Alrighty Jed!!!! glad to see you bringing both!!!
Jenks, you never know...That pit might just be a speed pit! Hard to say and your truck will do speed!!! Those big tires might just slow them down. Hard to say till we see what they make out of it!!! But they are requiring all of us to enter before the race begins so you'll just have to guess what the pit is going to be by looking at it in the morning.

Jeff
Think we are going to seat this one out. I see they put more money in sam class. If they don't care about us little guys then i don't think i will support them with my money.

But they are requiring all of us to enter before the race begins so you'll just have to guess what the pit is going to be by looking at it in the morning. Jeffro Ya and if you enter multiple classes and you break, you loose your money for the other classes you entered that you will not be able to run, because of no refunds. I was just talking to the better half about being the little guy, or in my case a middle of the road guy, which comes with larger entry fees and little payouts, and always getting the shaft. So I tend to agree with David. Later jenks

Jeff, only brining the one truck, but running both drag and bog.
I think you guys hit it on the head with the payout just going to the upper classes mostly the Drag and a little in the bog they could do a lot better job splitting it up.

OK Jed sorry! Glad your going into both! So are we!!! Yes they are not giving refunds for some reason which is something they have never done before. I know from the secretary's point of view they don't like to give refunds because they have to juggle the purse money around when people scratch. But that is kinda part of their job and not the racer's fault if they break. No reason to penalize the racer's for it!! So I'm not really not sure what or why they are doing what they are doing. I'll be interested to see if someone breaks in the drags if they get their money back?? David come on man, you already commited to this race for the right reasons. Let's don't loose focus!! We have a job to do. Also we gotta see that Maroon truck in the bog!!!! It's a race and you never know what's going to happen. I did ask the Overlanders about who the sponsor and club member was that was able to pull this sponsorship off. Pretty nice off them to add the money to a class that already has 1500.00 in it!!! And like Jenks said, the little guy gets bones a gain!!! So the little guys are getting the "shaft" again and it's not the Peoria fair board doing it!!!

Come on Rich and Jed!!!! Peoria may have kinda shafted the little guys but it'll still be a big race and good racing!!!!
Miles knew about the Peoria race and wouldn't change their dates..That's why they are doubled. I tried to get them to change the race the same week they posted them back in the spring.
The Peoria race should have more trucks and should pay better than miles! Heck I'd consider joining you but a friend of mine who does the Overlanders web site is flying back from the east coast for the Peoria race so we have to go there with him!!! But it really should be a better race. I do like Miles though. Like the people, they always treat you right and appreciate you coming to race with them. I don't know how many times I've seen Scotty announcing and thank us for showing up and driving so far to their race. Kinda makes it worth while when you know your appreciated!!!
Think about it!!

Jeff
I don't know? Just got done putting 38s on. Now i see the drag tracks going to be 160 foot.Whats up with that? So i would want to run my 35s for drags and 38s for bogging seems like a lot of work for 50.00 if you win. I will talk with dex we will see. We are not running yet anyway still waiting on parts for the carb and oil pressure isn't to good 60 psi we will see.
