Rich-Glad you got her running right!! It's been a big battle this year for you and it still ran good when it wasn't running good!!!LOL
Eugene-I was hoping that you guys would get back out!!! Come on there is still months left racing!! But I sure understand you don't want to come out until it's just right!!
Jed, Sounds like that's going to be a good race weekend! Mark you should make that one a two day race if you can swing it. They are pretty close distance wise and only a day apart!!! Race Peatr monster Saturday and Sabuila Sund and head home sunday afternoon!! Heck they're even having a BOG Wedding on Sunday!!! That's a first!!LOL
Well my stuff is getting close to assembly I'm getting the balanced parts back tuesday then I'll assemble it shortly after!! Should be testing a week from today!!
Thanks,
Jeffro

So Rich is there an ending to your story? Did you find the problem? Hard to believe that thing died with 7 pounds of fuel pressure!!?? Mike we are racing in Brookfield, Mo that weekend if we get back together. Meeting up there with a BUNCH of friends. Having a fish fry at the track. It'll be a great weekend. Wish you could come up!! Thanks for the invite though!! If we came down it'd sure be a long drive home with my tail between my legs!! See you in mid-sept!! Jeffro

what got it figured out was it died in my driveway on the way back from a test run.now i've pulled bowls off a couple of times but never looked any further.pulled site plug after it died in the yard and rocked truck, but no fuel running out, started it up raised float level and still nothing, raised it again and it poured out.aha, took off bowl and took it apart and low and behold there was a rock the size of a bb on top of the needle and seat .this little sob was the cause of all this trouble. thought it could be fuel but seeing it had pressure when it died threw me off.even talked to scotty about it not pulling very hard up top nor hitting the rev limiter,it does now ;D

Jeff, she now has the "super tune" I am back to guzzling fuel at an astounding rate again. I picked up some new parts here this week and should remedy the rest of my problems. And at a good deal to boot. Hmmmmmm Richie what you so quiet for........ If I were to guess you have a single plane intake which would not allow you in class 300. I bet me guess right. I would get off your duff. The last time I saw your truck run at the peat monster the motor was STRONG. now with all the work you did would be worth it. "insert stir the pot smiley here, as well as a pirate salute" Only problem I see is if you are still sporting that 44 up front, it might go boom. we will be in the far west pit I imagine with the big nasty hole that eats tires and axles at about the 100' mark. This will have to do....lol.. later jenks
