Dick,
We'll see what the future holds. I had planned to but unenforceable speed bumps may take us out of the racing equation this year. If it does it wasn't cause I was avoiding Hilltop, we had planned on it!
How about you guys? What's your schedule?

No Dex didn't hurt it at all. Just unforeseen slow down causing the ripple effect on the racing budget. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction so if we have to stop for a while we'll sure come back A GOOD BIT FASTER!
Speaking of that ...Dick you put together a full size big block truck? I have to check the rules what is 300B? Guessing a no MSD thing?
Come on lets see a picture? When are you going to have it done?
Speaking of done Dex how are you coming along in that department?

Just wanted to say. THANKS to the double D's...Dex and Dick for posting. I was going to get rid of the board but maybe I'll give it a few more weeks.
Nothing I dislike to see is a board not used. we get between 25 and 80 views on the site everyday. So if it was going to take off, I was hoping to get a couple posts a week.

JF,
What class truck are you building? Is Hilltop going to be your home track? How far will you travel with it?
I know RJ (Roseville, IL) is revamping a couple trucks, (might as well going to be new). He'll be bringing one new one to Hilltop in a couple weeks. There are at least five new ones coming out to the Miles track. They'll probably race long grove Ia and Sabula also.

Jeff, I just found the forum! lol The site is looking awesome I would like to go down to SL the 26th but still trying to pinch pennies to finish the wife's truck! Good luck to everyone that goes!

Thanks Derrick, Hope things work out and we all get to run together first race in Monroe city! You going to be able to make that one? That'll be Travis' home track I believe. I think Travis is going to come out really fast this year. It will be a 300 class and 35 bogger class at Miles.
I hope things work out so you can race, I was looking forward to the challenge in the bogger class.
I'm planing on hitting a few other tracks in the area over the season

I'm planing on hitting a few other tracks in the area over the season That 35 Bogger Class has some mean trucks in it and now Dick's jumping in too!!! There's Aaron in in that blue chevy and Scott in the tiger striped chevy. I'm not sure if "Cool Blue" ran that class or not. He may be done racing though, not sure. Now Dick's in that class and those guys don't know how to sit in a truck that gets 2nd place!!!LOL Good luck to you, what engine you running? Jeffro |
