just got a call from my son,my carb has come back ,now all i need is a week off to get it up and running,turning out to be more than i bargained for,plus weather has'nt helped,nor does waiting all week to get home only to find parts are wrong or no parts.well time to go get my trailer and head out

Yeah, sometime getting parts can be a big pain in the ass. We made up a to do list this week to finish off two of our trucks, Ive only got a few small things, my brother had a whole page full.

Hope you get some rhythm going! Yes it's hard to believe how much time it actually takes to get all loose ends tied up. I don't know how many temporary fixes become permanent !!!LOL
Well going to change tires, plugs, fill fuel and detail the truck for Saturdays bog!!
Putting a set of 35's on it!!!

hoping to get cam degreed and valve train done and start puting things back together to break in cam ,then gotta go watch races saturday afternoon at gussies

Good luck Dex! Those 38 boggers? If they are you have to runn'em against the 44's don't you? Also be careful with those 38 and that independent front end!!

jeff,need to get cam degreed in ,then get cam broke in,then install inner springs,finish up fuel lines from new tank in rear to the firewall,put the bed back on,had it off to install new tank,replace front clip and hook everything back up,getting tired just typing all this also have a lead on a better stall converter,37-3800 one,should really get that changed too ;D plus i think i need to drill a hole in my new intake for a vacuum line

I drilled and put a fitting in my carb spacer for my brakes plus put a tee in the brake line for dist our what ever.

how big of a line do i really need to run to the vacuum canister for my brakes?

well bad back and all,finally got cam degreed in,got a 111 cl and card calls for 110.i quit lol.adjusted valves and all roller rockers were good cept for one,turns kinda hard,trunion must be bad so gotta call scorpion in morning and see how soon they can get me one here,hopefully in time to put it all back together next weekend and fire it up.at the rate im going it maybe memorial day b4 it runs
