I sure hope you figure it out!! I wasn't able to. I've read many sets of instructions watched it on You tube. And still I can't figure it out. I have a dial indicator and a magnet if you need one to measure valve lift.
I tried but just couldn't figure it out. If I saw someone do it once I think I would be fine. Just like setting up rear ends. Once Chris showed me what to look for and how to address certain issues I've done it with 100% success. But before that I wrecked three!!!LOL
If you get it done at the first race your going to have to enlighten me. Also the adjustment of the cam befuddles me. You have to have little advance/retard shims or something?
It's OVER MY HEAD!!

ive got a moroso one and yes it can be confusing i set mine but the guy that built the rest of my motor was right over my shoulder

See that's where Dex and D4ve have an edge. They really can get it dialed right in as the Maroon Rocket shows on race day. I'm going to hi-jack Dave next time I do a cam change. Once I see it, I'll be good.
Right now my cam degreeing technique is about as accurate as "throwing a garbage can at a dart board"! LOL
