We got 2 barrels of 112 for 385.00 each yesterday. He had a couple barrels left and said the new price was 511.00 and going up from there!!

Only 1 was for me one was for RJ my racing partner. I think my supplier has a couple left maybe but I'm afraid the transportation fees to Kentucky is going to take us out of the "cost effective" scope of the good price!! I'd sure sell you one at 385. if I had an extra!! ;D
Do you run 112 also?

We ran sunoco 110 last year.

Might want to watch sunoco 110 this year Kenneth. We ran 110 last year too but my supplier said they only can get 110 regular sunoco instead of premium 110 sunoco. He said ejust about everyone that was buying 110 last year was buying 112 this year!
Might not be the same down where you are!

just a heads up to the guy that built our motor did a lot of research before he bought fuel and 112 is only good for 12.5:1

I'm over that and been burning 110 for the last half of last year!!oops.. Well 112 has to be closer. I'll grind dishes in my pistons before I burn 114 that's just too cashy!!  |

Yes Aaron,
I'd like to put a real cam and a set of Cobra Jet Heads on her and bump it up 200HP!! But then I'm afraid I'd find a bunch of weak links in other areas. The 615 HP version is a lot more dependable. Almost a daily driver the way it is!!
So Arron & Jed you guys are going to the peat monster next week?
Rich your going to have a bye week starting the season?
I spoke to RJ today and it looks like we might be going south next weekend. I think the rules down there suit us much better and it'll be our last chance to race with those guys before the norther season starts!!

i hear ya on the on the price of the 114 and i do go cheap on a lot of things but to ME the extra 90 bucks a barrel is worth the piece of mind because ill be done for a lot time if anything happens to my motor and maybe it really isnt worth the money especially with mine being only about 12.6:1 or so just my thoughts but i do hear where you are coming from.

and kenneth i dunno if you are a die hard sunoco guy but check on rocket brand their 111 was under 400 for a barrel but with everything going on over seas it maybe ski high too

yeah,definately looks like it jeff,with other issues today and weather.hopefully tomorrow i can get things done,,but with only one day a week to work on it,i need a little cooperation from the weatherman.finally got all parts i think,carb should be here early next week.hopefully between intake ,spacer,carb and air cleaner my hood will still close |
